isn't that true? especially when you have been away for a few days; you enjoy the time off, but there's nothing like your own bed, bedsheets, pillow and all our personal quirks at home. nice moody atmosphere. aces!
Yes, I think a lot of people feel that way- it's such a great feeling sinking into a comfy bed for the night! I really like the lighting on this shot- just like you feel drifting off into a good dream.
Looks very comfy, mine unfortunately is a bed of nails, I put off going until the last minute, just about 4 hours last night, it’s not the bed it’s me and the ravages of arthritis and nerve entrapment, but I am very grateful for what I do manage to get on some nights!
@summerfield Thanks Vikki. I have called myself "the princess and the pea" many nights in my life, when one little wrinkle will irk the heck out of me resulting in restless sleep. I used to fight for the covers but that doesn't happen much anymore. I'm also very particular about my sheets. @olivetreeann Thank you Ann. @pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. @grammyn Thanks Katy. @kjarn Thank you Kathy. When I first got married my husband had a waterbed (think old time, no baffles, slosh, slosh). It made going anywhere else and getting a decent night sleep almost impossible. Regular mattresses just aren't the same. @jamibann Thank you Issi. @wakelys Thank you Susan. @pusspup Thank you Wylie. I don't dream as much as I used to. I hate that. I used to have some good dreams... @s4sayer Thanks very much Margo. @haskar Thank you. I've tried some of those pillows and could never get comfortable with one. One of the reasons there are so many pillows on the bed is because I have a hard time finding one that does sleep well. @craftymeg I hate that for you Margaret. I imagine you are uncomfortable. Little to no sleep at night makes me feel terrible during the day. @thewatersphotos Thank you Gary. I feel the same way. Sometimes I feel silly mentioning some of the things I'm grateful for but it doesn't change the fact that I am. @fbailey Thank you Felicity. I've read that identifying the things we're grateful for may help with some of the COVID blues that people are experiencing. @carolmactx Thank you Carol.
