Socialization during the pandemic

Gratitude Day#27
So grateful that technology has made it possible to interact and socialize with others while we are at home.
I agree- it's not the same as actually being together but it's better than no interaction at all. And it is fun- so lots to be thankful for in that way.

The internet is a marvellous thing and keeps us all connected. Its lovely that you're able to catch up with your friends.

Great we have it . Without it would be even worse.
( The tiles on the roofs are made of ceramic. The clay turns red when baked.)

Yup, better than not seeing your friends at all.
(That's cool that with you're living in NC, you've seen pinecones there like the ones I photographed yesterday.)

It does help a lot. We had a family Zoom on Thanksgiving and today we got to watch our grandson open his birthday presents that we sent him.

@olivetreeann @serendypyty @kwind @pyrrhula @farmreporter @grammyn @kjarn @mcsiegle @pusspup @wakelys @photographycrazy @craftymeg @bkbinthecity @lyndemc @jernst1779 Thank you one and all. I'm so happy for those of you who are able and willing to take advantage of social media and the internet. It seems better to have a connection with people "face to face" rather than only in written word or by phone, but those are good too.

We had to have a virtual Thanksgiving this year so I’m grateful for the internet as well.

@jb030958 Indeed, you are among many this year. While it's hard to be away from family and friends, it's also nice to sign off when you've had enough.
