What a pretty pattern! I had my grandmothers China to but it just sat in the cupboard and I ended up giving it to my cousin so she could use it in her bridal venue. I like the subdued lighting in this photo.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Any time Jackie. I'd love to serve you tea. @grammyn Thanks Katy. It was a rainy afternoon and not much light coming in the windows. @tunia I do Tunia. I have to many dishes, though, and the thought of getting rid of them makes me sad. Perhaps I'll have a party when Covid restrictions and precautions are over. Use all my dishes. @wakelys thank you Susan. @kjarn It's funny the odd numbers of the different pieces. Must have been some sort of open stock. Also noticed today that the information on the bottom is different on some of the pieces although they appear to be a match. @pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. @pusspup Thank you Wylie. I really should disturb them rather than let them sit there and collect dust like I've been doing. @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian. @craftymeg Thank you. They've sat a lot - not a lot of use. @olivetreeann Thank you Ann. @Dawn Thank you Dawn.
I have some pieces of my grandmothers tea set and it also has different information on the bottom of some of the pieces which I also thought was unusual
@kjarn Interesting. The plate I pulled out to look at yesterday said Nippon, Noritake. The cup showing the label in the photo indicates Germany and something else. Maybe something to do with WWII.
