@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. I had friends leaving when I saw the sky. I told them I needed to run and get my camera - you know how quickly the light can change. @julie Thank you Julie. It was a lovely view of the sky this evening. @grammyn Thank you Katy. The pinks were beginning to be vibrant. I'll try not to bore everyone with too many photos of the view across the road.
@summerfield The sky is often interesting in that direction in the spring and summer it's more difficult to see because the trees leaf out and block the view. Thank you very much Vikki. @onewing Thanks Bab. My mother lived here for a few years after she was diagnosed with dementia. She used to tell her friends from where she used to live that she was in country. In actuality this house is within shouting distance of the city limits. Rural America. What can I say. @shutterbug49 Thanks Debbie. @amyk Thank you Amy. The sky was quite lovely this evening. @tosee Thanks Tom. @dkbarnett Thank you Delwyn. That's why I rushed to get my camera.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you Jackie. I thought it was pretty enough to run and get the camera. @kjarn I thought so too. Thank you Kathy. @jamibann Thank you Issi. The pinks and grays were delicate. @wakelys Appreciate your comment Sue. Thanks. @johnfalconer Thank you John. Usually something good to see in this direction. @bkbinthecity Thank you Brian.
@novab Thank you. As you know I had no control of the colors, so had to grab them when I could. (Didn't mean to make this sound like a smart aleck remark - just trying to be amusing.} @craftymeg Thanks very much Meg. @haskar Thanks so much Hannah.
You lucky duck! What a beautiful view! Great catch—the light can indeed change quickly.
Kathy, we’re paired up again. Here I am again rather late giving you a challenge, and don’t think I see one from you either. Would you care to do the second option I offered last week? — make a photo that is meant to be viewed rotated 90 degrees on its side or 180 upside down. Let me know if I need to think of a fresh challenge.
@mcsiegle Thank you Mary. I do feel I'm lucky to have that view. It's undeveloped land & I always fear the owner will put up new houses over there & block my view. I will do my best with your challenge.
My challenge to you is on the sunset photo with "sorry no time" in the title.
(Our working horses are. It`s hard work on clay.)
