Long Exposure

21 / 365
After my indoors experiments yesterday with long exposure photography, I dressed warmly tonight and went out to see how my newly learned skills would hold up in the uncontrolled outside world. This is my pick of the evening. I think you can still really see it's night, while you can still see quite a few details, and I love the interesting lighttrail the car left.

Technical details for this shot:
Camera: Nikon D5000
Exposure: 30 seconds
Aperture: f/22.0
Focal Length: 48 mm
Focal Length: 47.6 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: +8/3 EV
Flash: No Flash

Nice shot. Btw, you had asked how I achieved the tones in my coffee bean shot. I use PS, and converted the image to BW and used a tone and saturation until I was satisfied with the look. thanks

Very cool. Didn't notice the trails left by the headlights at first glance!
