Babes in the Woods by reciprocity

Babes in the Woods

Set off with a fully charged battery today and another bag full of good intentions to get a picture that did the conditions justice. Not much luck again though... I think what looks good to the naked eye is sometimes very difficult to translate onto film (or memory card ). More practice is needed.

I did however get to herd cats - sorry I mean 'kids' - around the local National Trust property.

I have come to the conclusion that children exist at a Quantum level - they operate under an constant state of uncertainty and the more you know about their momentum the less you know about their position. In fact, you can have some experimental fun by having them collide with one another in an attempt to discover new, more elemental particles.

What is certain, however, is that the walk is too long, hands are too cold and legs are too tired. Are we nearly there yet?

@yvnn heh, thanks for the comment Yvonne, that is a nice poem (I Googled it!). Apt words for the picture as well :)

love this. The contrast between the small children and the tall trees is great. Colors are good, too! (I almost want to shout out to them "Don't go in there!" ) :-)

@marketingheart @nikkig Cheers for the comments. I'm glad people are liking this shot, the girls will be chuffed to bits. It'll make up for mean dad dragging them through cold dark forests. ;-)

I love this. It has a slightly spooky feel. Perhaps I watched too much Hammer Horror when I was young!
