Sailed the inner harbor this afternoon, following along side this beautiful 100-foot, gaff-rigged schooner. It was a clear, sunny day, about 12 knots of wind, with fairly calm waters. Altogether a perfect day to spend with family out on the water! Forgot to pop a media card in my camera so had to settle for an iPhone shot.
Beautiful capture Elizabeth. I've never learned to sail, but the experience I had with my youth group was fabulous. We went to a restored lightship run by 'Fellowship Afloat' . They all went out on small ding hays and I was on a square rigger. It was amazing, I could have stayed there for much longer than we did.
