Too Dark to See the Sharks!

Today the big news at the beach was the sighting of two great white sharks about 100 yards from shore! Signs went up warning swimmers and kite boarders to "enter at their own risk."

By the time I got down to the pier tonight, folks were watching the sunset and some people were actually in the water swimming and paddle boarding! Guess they didn't watch the news. It's extremely rare for sharks to be spotted here. I made sure I was well away from the water line. I'm thinking this weekend I may not go out sailing? Perhaps a bike ride instead...

Definitely a bike ride! I loathe sharks -that word loathe is not strong enough. Nightmares about sharks taking whole legs off and swimming away (true)

This is really wonderful....the three people in the grouping in the middle look like they are playing Rock Paper Scissors!! The framing of the pier works really well. I think a bike ride is really in the plans for the weekend! Did I tell you that I once went swimming with sharks in Belize? Yes, we paid money to do that!
