I found it amusing that despite the fact that we were at the Vatican surrounded by ancient sculpture and priceless artifacts, the majority of the visitors were
talking non stop on their cell phones. Occasionally, they would pause, take a camera phone photo, then continue talking. Photography was allowed just about everywhere except inside the Sistine Chapel.
That's a shame. Such an incredible experience to be there, seeing this historic place -- and they can't put their phones done or shut up so others can enjoy it.
Wonder what these people did before cell phones?
