Water Taxi

These small inflatable boats, called pangas, were our main form of transport for island hopping. Our guides were experts at maneuvering between the rocks so we could get closer to birds, sea lions, turtles and rays. Of course the boat was always bouncing around so it was challenging to get a good shot.
Awesome picture.

The best way to view a rocky coastline and see the wildlife! Just realised you are on a wonderful cruise!

Did you have a rope to hold on to as you sat on the side? I certainly can see why it would be a challenge to take photos!

@Weezilou No ropes to hold. We just gripped with our feet and knees and did our best to steady our cameras.

@redy4et I know I sound like a broken record, but this was a wise choice we made not to go *this year*!
