This is my final shot in my Bodie, CA series. The townsite, established in the 1860's, was purchased by the California State Parks in 1962. It is the largest un-restored ghost town in the U.S. Park rangers work and reside here year- round to keep the buildings stabilized to prevent further decay. A peek through the windows of the storefronts and saloons on its Main Street gave me a fascinating glimpse into its colorful past.
