Today is our 46th wedding anniversary. No small feat in current times and after all these years, we still love each other more than ever! My husband surprised me with a high tech watch that now runs my life. It not only tells me the time, day and date, it shows the weather, wind speed, where I’m located on the planet, my current EKG reading and about a million other things I may or may not want to know. It also displays messages so I now have no excuses for anything. I can even take incoming phone calls on the watch like the Dick Tracey cartoons of my childhood but I haven’t figured out how to do outgoing calls on it yet. I figure it’s designed to help with the aging process—as I get more forgetful, the watch will remind me!
Now I don't have that amazing watch. But we have - been married for 46 years too!
Bit doubtful about this - might make you feel a failure if you don't keep up?
@judithdeacon 45 years is a wonderful accomplishment! I wasn’t keen on the idea of the watch at first, but it’s useful and entertaining.
I ‘ll never master all it offers but that’s ok.
Congrats, Elizabeth. You're going to love your Applewatch. I've had a few and really like the newest one. Mine shows my blood sugar levels constantly, and now I can't live without it - literally!
