Another shot of a surfer at Scripps Pier. There are two days a year when the sun drops directly in the pier gateway- usually in mid-May and August. Those dates attract scores of professional and amateur photographers. I took this shot 2 days ago so obviously the sun wasn't perfectly aligned but I was there and am fairly pleased with the result. Best viewed on black.
