For thousands of years, water has condensed, pooled, dripped, flowed or seeped into the limestone caves of Kartchner Caverns in southern Arizona, forming calcite mineral deposits of all shapes and sizes. I had the chance to do a rare nighttime photo tour of the caves and was amazed by the vast caverns carved by nature.
