If you hadn't heard the news and happened to show up on the beach near Crystal Cove this past weekend, things looked almost normal. There weren't as many people walking around or surfing as might have been expected on such a beautiful day but it wasn't empty either. No large groups though, just one or two people walking along and a couple of families with young children playing at the water's edge. At least we got some fresh air and were vigilant about maintaining a safe distance from others who were out doing exactly the same thing.
Glad people were being wise. All the crazies who packed the parks and open spaces at the weekend in the UK have forced us into Lockdown since last night now. This is a lovely beach.
