Oh Mother Nature, you're such a tease. Was it because we took out the patio furniture? Or maybe it was because I took the snow brush out of the truck? Or perhaps it's because I could hear the neighbours putting their summer tires on yesterday. In any case, giving us summer-like temperatures in March, then dumping a pile of wet snow on us towards the end of April, well, let's just say we're having a hard time appreciating your sense of humour. You had the squirrels chirping and the robins totally baffled! At least we made the best of it.
And it feels so much colder when you're not expecting it. We've had the same here too! At least the kids love it - great snowman! Roll on sunshine though!
@northy The GTA got a really mild winter this year. So did we but we had our share of surprises too... like this one.
@elsbels So true, especially when you get teased with hints of spring here and there. It's supposed to be getting warmer! :)
@grammyn@goodnouc Thanks, I had to laugh, not only because this happened on exactly the same day last year, but because there really wasn't anything I could do about it, except try to enjoy it. I figure I have my health, my family, and a roof over my head, a little bit of snow isn't going to bring me down.
@ruthmouch Thank you. One of these days, I'm going to be back in that beautiful city of yours. It tugs on my heartstrings almost daily.
We got that same weather! I am not a fan of it being 80 degrees one day and then 30 the next. It looks like you got a bit more then us. Love the snowman!!!
