We are decorating our living room /dining room / kitchen whilst we are away for a few weeks. It’s meant clearing a very big area and no fun, hence my lack of commenting for which I apologise. We took down three shelves of cookbooks, this is just a small collection. It’s time to distribute these now - two Ottolenghi’s are already packed to take to Zurich. My DIL’s first choice.

It’s good to be forced to have a sort out because it’s amazing how many cookbooks we accumulate over the years. I have some that I keep just for one recipe.
I will have that coming up soon too! As we both always loved cooking, I have at least one book of every top chef, over 100 books! I also have a collection Australian Vogue Entertaining which I started buying in Tokyo in the early 70's.
A whole nightmare is ahead for me as there will be no space in our new house..
Most of them we don't use anymore and they were all very expensive. Nobody wants books anymore, everyone googles recipes.
I got rid of most of my cookbooks when I moved into my current house. Usually Google a recipe rather than look one up, except for well used old favorites.
