If this project is a photo journal, then there *has* to be a photo of people for this date, but I caution all that I suck at portrait photography. Faces are underexposed or overexposed; I hardly **ever-ever** get it right. The photo I want to post will have overexposed faces, but the story will be — well, the story — not the image. @gmitche47 And it does indicate that we were at Raymond & Jeanne's, but it's not the “right” image to post for today. I'm awaiting permissions to post, but it’s an image of Jeanne with her “second-cousin/once-removed” (#2612)...
@hey_danes Thanks! It was a bright & cheery, sunny afternoon, which was precisely the problem with the outdoor photos. I felt compelled to fill with flash and then the faces were overexposed. :-\
@oneinodd It was a gorgeous day yesterday afternoon! It was almost warm enough to be outside with short sleeves. Not quite, but *almost*!

Are you supposed to get horrendous snowfall tonight or tomorrow (as Chicago is supposed to get)?
@rhoing I'd be happy with weather warm enough for no gloves! Not sure how horrendous it will actually be but we're set to get him tomorrow night and into Wednesday. It's okay with me though, it'll make for an easy work week :)
