Flower on fire!

I was going to post something else, but I kept coming back to this image. The bloom appears to float over the background and the center reminds me of video images of the sun with flares firing out as the surface pulses over the internal solar engine.

Day-after edit. I totally missed this yesterday: this is #183, so I am past the halfway mark for a year. No filler yet, which hopefully explains many of the less-than-inspired posts!

@michelleyoung @loriromp @altadc Thank you! Red and orange flowers often take on an "in your face" brightness or brilliance, sometimes overpoweringly so but I thought this one was a bit tempered by the greens.
