Sigh. Roland and I left Craftsbury Sculling Center as lunch was being served yesterday. We had a 3:25 p.m. US Airways flight to Newark, connecting there to St. Louis. We were about halfway to the airport when I received a text that our flight was delayed. The new time was — well, it's a long and frustrating story. As you can see above, we were still in Burlington early the next morning. Roland had to cancel the surgeries he had scheduled today. In the end it took us about 37 hours and an overnight in Burlington to make a journey that was supposed to take about 9 hours. US Airways? Only if it's absolutely-positively the *only* alternative.
Pretty sunrise, though, right?

Traveling can be sometimes really frustrating! Look on the bright side, Thom - you got a great sunrise over the mountains photo - and northern Vermont is just beautiful! I'm going to Stowe this winter.
@sparkleplenty1 Drove through Stowe between the sculling center and airport. Still a cute town in the mountains!
@sitiodown Aww, thanks, Tari. The next couple posts are going to be pretty lame, I fear. But still no filler and lame is what happens sometimes if you're committed to no-filler!
