Tree ornament

This was a pretty dry day photographically. We left the house at 6:30 a.m. to pick up the girls at the airport 2+ hours away and spent the rest of the day together. This was a mid-afternoon “safety shot” (in case nothing better presented itself). I wish I knew how this ornament was made, but my guess is that it is hand-blown glass with lots of blue and red “pebbles” pushed toward the center while the glass was still pliable…

Edit I think this frah-GEE-lay ornament fell-and-broke during one of the subsequent decorating or undecorating sessions. :-(

Pretty one too! This one has lights in it! I love your use of the "safety shot" concept. I guess I do that as well. I just never named the phenomenon. haha Or is it phenomena?
