Given the tablecloth, Christmas morning is the only day of the year this shot could have been taken: “orange rolls” (Pillsbury’s “Orange Sweet Rolls with Icing”). This is a tradition for our family on holidays that dates back to my childhood. I had a great-aunt who was in the food brokerage business and this was a product she “pushed.” It was served at her house on the holidays — Thanksgiving and Christmas and Easter and… — when we drove the 15 minutes from our house to her place. Find them in your grocer’s dairy case.
