Back in the library: An abstract explained

The other day I posted an abstract of sorts (“Geometric shapes in the Library”): http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-03-28 — do you see it above? The light fixtures in the rotunda-like area are suspended on posts hanging from the ceiling and they shine up at the ceiling: upper-center in this image. The shot the other day was taken looking directly up at the fixture. Since the light shines up, the outer ring of the fixture is completely dark and looks like a record album to some. :)
