Confession time

Yep; I buy seafood from "a guy with a truck" in a shopping center parking lot. It's the most-reliable seafood we can get here, week-in and week-out. Well, okay, semi-monthly-in and semi-monthly-out. (He's here Th-F-Sa two weeks a month.)

Yes, we appreciate fresh seafood, but I'll wait while you go to a map and see how far we are from an ocean or major gulf…

Deleted nearly everything I shot today. It was a busy day of errands after breakfast and then grading second-midterms before dinner "out" with Clare and a dear friend.

Oh well, Thom - this photo answered my question as to whether you were in Boston to watch your daughter in the marathon. While I'm on school break, I do tend to forget that not everyone else is. I'm watching the 11:00 news where they're showing all the runners who were taken to local hospitals during today's run - it was really brutal! Be sure to give your daughter a big hug the next time you see her!

Hey, you find a great supplier and you go with it. Not too far from where I live, they still have a butcher that goes around in a refrigerated truck selling items too, and years ago we used to buy from him. Great products.
