Oh! *This* is why it’s a “Fiery” Skipper!

When I posted my first Fiery Skipper (Hylephila phyleus; family, Hesperiidae; subfamily, Hesperiinae) — http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-06-12 — I didn't think it was very “fiery.” Now, however, it’s clear that it earned its name from the wing surfaces *above* rather than below! I regret that I didn’t get a sharper shot of this guy; they’re fast!

Today I learned that this purple flower is Ageratum (Ageratum houstonianum), identified 3 months ago as “‘Untitled’ (or perhaps ‘Stringy, purple flowers’)” http://365project.org/rhoing/365/2012-05-31
Thank you, Jeanne!
