Okay, it’s another female Eastern Pondhawk (the third, but who’s counting?). I really like the perspective from above and the effect of her perch on the edge of one leaf over a darker, greener leaf. The perspective gives detail where the wings attach to her body and highlights the sharp “ridge line” to the tip of her tail. [Magnify for more detail]
By not showing all of her “starboard” wings, I hope my followers will appreciate the growth this post shows!
