“I wonder what our kids will look like…”

From my favorite campus garden on my way home from delivering graded quizzes to the graduate students’ mailboxes. It was this or another leaf or whatever I could throw together at 11:50 p.m. (which was nothing in the end)…

The seed head belongs to the plant “Pennisetum glaucum” (“Pearl millet”), a member of the grass family Poaceae.

Species page at PhytoImages, http://phytoimages.siu.edu/cgi-bin/dol/dol_terminal.pl?taxon_name=Pennisetum_glaucum&rank=binomial

Very nice composition - like the vine woven around the plants...pretty image!

@lindag Thank you, Linda! It was 100% about the vine twirling about the [unknown plant] stem; that's what caught my eye.
