If if has to be a Painted Lady…

… then it can at least be a different treatment. By gray-scaling everything but Vanessa and her shadow, it covers up — if only a little — the weeds we have around our garden. It’s just been a terrible growing season for grass this year. Turf grass, that is. ;) Looks like she made have lost a bit of her left-hind wing.

This butterfly was nearly the only subject of photos today and not many at that. But the good news is that all the first-midterm grading is done: yay!

It makes a perfect photo, and yeah for you. All the grading is out of the way. Wow, what are you going to do with all that spare time? Row, row, row your boat LOL.
