Signs of spring!

Six-legged animals and dandelions (family Asteraceae — the sunflower family!, Taraxacum officinale). Probably with a close-up filter to get this close with the 18–55mm lens.

On campus, though (1) not in the greenhouse, though (2) there is a dandelion in a pot in the greenhouse! I’m guessing the powdery stuff in this image is actually pollen.

@espyetta I've never looked at a dandelion closely before now. ("Now" = 365!) Spring is great and I cannot wait for the end of the semester! Still holding to the new lifestyle begun a few months ago?
