I did visit the greenhouse and I photographed a butterfly — Colias eurytheme, i.e., Orange Sulphur, http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/sighting_details/903150 — but this had to be today’s post. My friend in Maine who’s a birder says this is an Eastern bluebird. Not to worry, I’m not branching out from plants-and-flowers and bugs to birds. Well, not yet. Who can say what might happen in retirement, right?
