Fun with Geometry

What do you get when you look at a 3-dimensional grid reflected off a right cylinder? Answer: This!

» The foreground is the flat floor.
» The “curved line” where the light and the dark meet is the reflection of where the floor meets the [vertical] wall;
» The short line about half-way down the right edge of the image where the light and the dark meet is where the “real” floor meets the “real” [vertical] wall.
Fun, huh?

Photographed in the Clayton, MO, Crate & Barrel store.

This is a beautiful image! So this is a reflection on the column?

@kathyladley Yep; just a shiny waste basket/dust bin sitting on a tiled floor next to a tiled wall. :)
