Life is full of hard choices!

Today we celebrated Christmas with Clare’s “immediate” family: Mom, her kids & their spouses, her grandkids & one spouse. Next year there will be at least one new spouse … and a great-grandchild. This will make me a “great-uncle.” That doesn’t freak me out as much as the fact that Clare’s eldest brother and his wife, who are my age, will be grandparents! Yikes!

Anyway, the photo: these are cheesecake slices! I immediately decided I would have to cut 2 pieces in half to try 2 of the different flavors!
