My family lived on the opposite side of a busy street (Crooks Road, for those of you keeping score at home, Deb), but I'm pretty sure this was known as “Bicycle Hill.” Not much of a “hill,” unless of course you’re a kid with short legs and a hill-unfriendly bike. Such a gentle looking slope looking downhill, right? But as suggested by the title, impressions as a child frequently don’t mesh with our impressions as adults.
