From Christmases past

Clare's mom has decided to move back to her hometown and has definitely begun the process of downsizing her household. A year ago she went through her Christmas ornaments and pulled this one out. She asked Clare if we would like it. Not for ourselves, but I have the perfect person to carry it forward to Christmases future: our good friends Greg and Suzanne! Well, let's be accurate: Suzanne. So here it is on the kitchen island at Greg & Suzanne's where we went for dinner tonight. For posterity, I suppose, I also photographed the inside. Still legible after as many as 50+ years: “PEANUTS Characters ©1951, 1958 United Feature Syndicate Inc.”!

As my younger daughter might say, I will neither confirm nor deny that I may have Photoshop’ed some dust particles off the ornament…

@danette I bet it was a good concert! You posted or mentioned or recommended "Overcomer" by Mandisa. I bought the song and it's in my "6 Stars" playlist of my 180 absolute-favorite songs (from among my 8,000+ songs in iTunes!)… Thanks again for the recommendation! I should probably give a listen to all those folks' non-Christmas albums. Starting with Overcomer now!
