‘New’ vases … new ½-shelf

Not many frames today as I was focused on shopping for a replacement for my 6½-year old laptop and this minor home-improvement mini-project.

Clare returned from Mom's house with another car-full of household items as Mom prepares to move. Among the items were several more vases. Our vase inventory was spread over two or three locations, so I put in a ½-shelf in the otherwise-not-very-useful cabinet-over-the-stove.

This required dividing the vases into three groups, by height, and to increase the likelihood that everything would fit, I cut out two rectangles the sizes of the cabinet bottom and the new ½-shelf. Also had to acknowledge that some of the vases must be stored upside-down.

Two oversights, one of which Dad would have foreseen—
» One was a "design" oversight;
» the other was drilling through the center "stile", but hole-filler and Photoshop are über-helpful! ;)
Continuing to live-and-learn, Dad!
