Walnut twig

Clare, Jenny, Steve, Liz & I went to Raymond & Jeanne's for a mid-day dinner to accommodate all the various schedules. It was a celebration of Clare's and Liz's recent birthdays. Even so, we had two "seatings"!

I got some "people shots," but none that I like well enough to post and I kept coming back to this photo. I didn't think my plant biology guru would be able to identify this specimen, but he says it's in the Juglans genus of Butternuts, Walnuts and "Heart Nuts."
