Hemerocallis fulva (daylily) by rhoing

Hemerocallis fulva (daylily)

One of the last flowers from our front garden; I liked the twisting of the flower parts extending from the center of the petals…

@marlboromaam We didn't get to see these this year: the deer got them all. Grrrrrr....

@rhoing I can imagine. The deer eat my azalea and boxwood bushes in the fall and winter around here. The squirrels like to destroy my bluebird houses and hummingbird feeders, too. I need a new SUPER SOAKER for the squirrels. They stay away for a while once I've soaked them pretty good. LOL!

@marlboromaam I just learned of a product to spray on plants that will deter the deer and maybe rabbits, too: Liquid Fence. Our master gardener friend recommends it. Most of the big box stores have it, but here it is at Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Liquid-Fence-32-Ounce-Deer-Rabbit-Repellent-Concentrate/48947779
