Salt-and-pepper

Virtually no frames today, so this was an 11 p.m. rush to the photo box…

Clare's aunt and godmother, who passed away 10½ months ago, collected salt-and-pepper sets. I don't know how many she had when she passed away — "hundreds" had been suggested, but certainly "scores." Clare & I have been trying to reduce our household inventory, so she initially declined to take any. But last summer she had a change of heart-and-mind and we now have two sets.

Taken in my "foldio" ("folding studio").

These are as sweet as can be. I'm glad Clare changed her mind--they're small but their memory is big.
