“Stickers?,” you ask?
Yes, “landscape waste” is not collected with regular trash. The city of Carbondale requires clear lawn bags and a label affixed to each bag or bundle of yard clippings, leaves, needles, branches and the like. The $1 labels are sold in various stores in the city. So when the trash goes to a landfill or wherever the trash goes, I think the city chips the landscape waste for mulch or compost.
