I think I got it all. by rhoing

I think I got it all.

Is it our frugal German heritage?
Is it being an economist and/or being "green" and exhausting a "resource" before discarding the packaging?
Perhaps some combination of "All of the above"?

Photographed with point-and-shoot in the foldio.

We put a bulldog clip on ours... Except at the very end.. Squeeze and get it on the toothbrush. Relax and it goes back in again. A lot of mucking about for that end bit

I think it's being reared by parents whose formative years were during the Great Depression. “Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.”

@joannakate "Relax and it goes back in again" indeed!! Perfectly said, Joanna!!

What you call bulldog clips are probably what we call "binder clips." One of the things I really enjoy about 365 is learning the language differences between the US, UK and Australia! And although it's unfair that I regularly go to a greenhouse ("glass house"?) where I photograph things that don't naturally grow in this region, I enjoy seeing what flora and fauna are native to your part of the world!
