Wedding rehearsal

Daughter #1 (her sister's "Lady of Honor"). Daughter #2. Officiant Jed, a good friend of the bride and groom and just a nice, nice man. And Son-in-Law #2-to-be. Also a nice, nice man. Hard-working. Smart. Clare & I have won the kid lottery with our lovely daughters and the young men they have chosen. And knowing that this doesn't always work out this way, the four kids get along well, too. :)

After this late-morning rehearsal, we went out for lunch and later we sponsored a gathering in a hotel suite. All wedding-invited guests were invited and lots of people got to know each other a day ahead of time.

After that, Clare & I sat in Daughter #1's basement with brownies and champagne for some last-night-before-the-wedding family time, which we did the night before Daughter #1's wedding 2½ years ago. It was a very nice time for us four. Son-in-Law #1 was invited and welcome, but he has to work in the morning and tomorrow will be a long day, so he excused himself.

@maggiemae Rings were *not* forgotten! (I'm 2 weeks behind in posting, so this is already "old news"!)
