Travel day: Delta breaks out the snacks

We're going to Utah, taking Clare's mom to visit a friend she hasn't seen in a dozen years. We met Mom at the Indianapolis airport, needing a connection in Atlanta. (Indy-to-Salt Lake City is north-west, so I guess it make "Delta-sense" that you have to go to Atlanta first.)

Our aircraft arrived at 2:00 for a 12:44 departure (and a 2:20 arrival in Atlanta). Fortunately Clare has a layover minimum when making reservations for connecting flights, so we made our connecting flight to Salt Lake City.

Our flight was *so* delayed and so many passengers were panicking over connections that Delta broke out a couple of snack carts.

Mom may never travel with us again.
