500 miles in slop… [Travel day]

… with frozen windshield wiper fluid. :-\
We knew this from the drive to-and-from yesterday's family event. Clare googled "solutions" and the best seemed to be to thaw the reservoir with a hair dryer.
So I did that last night in Mom's garage to the point that the fluid was flowing and would spray on the windshield. Hurray!

Problem: As soon as we rolled out of Mom's garage, the car was in a single-digit temperature environment and it froze again. So we had to stop periodically and use newspaper and snow to clear the windshield.

So grateful to be home, sweet, home.
