Silly me, I took my logcard with me. The old Model E PM4 monitors would record your splits on the logcard's metal chip and then you upload your workout results with a card reader ($40) to the online Concept2 logbook.
One problem: the Model D's PM5 monitors don't have a slot for the logcard. What gives?
Again, silly me — now there's an app, ErgData and your phone connects to the indoor rower monitor by Bluetooth. Of course, right?
While the $7 logcard and $40 card reader are now obsolete, one can upload workout results (good or bad) immediately with the app and the PM5 record that's available through the online logbook has much more detail than the old PM4 records provided.
