Emerging

A zinnia bloom. From seed. Focus is a bit off. Now that I see it large, nothing is in sharp focus; sigh. Don't know if it's me not holding the camera steady for 1/100" or the DOF falling off so quickly. I am not up to hauling a tripod outside for a shot like this.

That's so interesting! I've never noticed the black outlines on the buds. And, welcome to my world of focus or fuzzy. LOL!

nice flower. I had and still have issues with holding a sturdy posture for optimum sharpness. It's finding your own best position to stand still. Keep trying things out and take many shots.

I usually take multiple shots to account for my shaking hold. :- )
