Tough to get the lighting right in a photo like this, although it was motivated by a different objective. See the lamp on the tabletop? It has a very long cord. Clare's chair in this room looked directly at this rearrangement and the black cord was quite a contrast against the light-blue wall and white baseboard. Voila! Through the magic of a heavy-duty stapler, the cord is now [mostly] hidden. Happy wife.
