A different view of Thomas Telford's famous bridge crossing the Menai Straits from mainland Wales to the island of Anglesey (Ynys Mon in Welsh). The bridge was constructed between 1818 and 1826 to complete th post road from London to Holyhead.

@whitelily Telford was inspired in giving us this one. I learnt from experience that it's a bit narrow for French coaches though!!!

It is a fab old bridge. A friend of mine from a long way back lived almost underneath it on Anglesey!
