I have been interested in photography since I was a small child, starting with a Kodak Brownie which I bought in 1957 with my holiday money which took small black and white photographs. I progressed to an Ilford Sportsman in 1962 which I used to capture on slide the dreadful winter of 1962/3 and my first holidays abroad.

Soon after starting work, I bought myself a Zenith B SLR and in the mid 70's got a Pentax KX and then got into developing and printing my own photographs.

Now we are in the digital age editing and printing photographs is a lot easier and considerably less expensive once you have your equipment. I enjoy taking photographs of the family, the places I visit, birds and wildlife.
