Still Raining!

Another really wet day in Yorkshire so I took the opportunity to get a still life of these tomatoes that are just waiting for some vinegar to arrive before becoming chutney.
lovely pic!

LOVE your pic -- the colors and lighting are great. It is STILL raining here in my part of the world, also. It rained off and on all last week; started raining at noon today and has been pouring most of the night since it got dark.

@blightygal I won't be involved in the chutney enterprise although I do like mango chutney!

I like all the colors both inside and out. Chutney sounds great!

Beautiful colours in this. Did your tomatoes not ripen or did you want to use them green?
posted October 5th, 2010
@arlyah365 They didn't ripen but they're ok for chutney!
posted October 5th, 2010
@rich57 Ours(almost all 4 plants mind you) refused to ripen as well. We didn't have a whole lot of warm and sunny weather around here. We had a whole other host of issues too. I've never had any kind of chutney besides the "Major Grey's" stuff at the store. How do you make it/use it?
posted October 5th, 2010
@arlyah365 Oh I have to admit I'm not the chief gardener/chutney maker! I'll ask later but I do know it involves vinegar! We grew potatoes and leeks too in that back yard you can see behind the tomatoes.
