No bench action today, rain stopped play. But that just means reflections and umbrellas if you turn around. And a fortuitously abandoned one at that...
@tamsg4 Haha well this is Trafalgar Square so it was kind of the opposite! Had to wait a few mins for a crowd free shot. In fact I was crouched down for way too long taking photos of a broken brolly. I really wanted a bright brolly behind and with a good reflection. But it cost me some aches and pains in the knees and back!

ha, I just saw this same umbrella in someone else's photo! You guys must have been in the same place at almost the same time! Small world! Great shot. The person walking through the back makes it for me!!
Brilliant - I'm always after dead umbrella shots but this is the best - brill colour and brill goings on behind with reflections and everything - you are so patient. And your knees are in quite good nick I think.
@rich57 it was me !! I posted two photos last night - the bench (of course!) and then this one ...mine is not as good as yours - you are a much better photographer than me, clearly !!!

LOVE the composition - you are the man! Instant fav for me ;). I shot something similar on a rainy day in Brighton (like there are non-rainy days in Brighton...) but it definitely didn't look this good and I never posted it.
